Instructions

Refilling a fountain pen from an ink pot using a converter (charger barrel) is a simple process. Follow these steps:

  1. Prepare the Pen: Unscrew the pen body to expose the converter attached to the nib section.

  2. Insert the Nib: Dip the nib and part of the section into the ink pot until the nib is fully submerged.

  3. Draw Ink: Twist or pull the converter mechanism to draw ink into the converter. You’ll see the ink filling the converter.

  4. Remove Air Bubbles: Twist the converter in the opposite direction to expel a bit of ink back into the pot, removing any air bubbles. Then twist it again to refill.

  5. Clean Excess Ink: Carefully remove the nib from the ink pot and wipe any excess ink off the nib and section with a soft cloth or tissue.

  6. Reassemble the Pen: Screw the body of the pen back onto the nib section.

  7. Test: Test the pen on paper to ensure a smooth flow.
